Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and how you stay in control of it.

Who we are

This website is operated by Mitchell Media LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Our website addresses are mitchellsmm.com and jakemitchellmedia.com. If you have questions about this policy, email us at jake@mitchellsmm.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a free resource, we collect your first name, email address, and, if you choose to share it, your firm name. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in your message.

Booking a call. Calls are scheduled through Calendly. The details you enter there, such as your name, email, phone number, and answers to booking questions, are collected by Calendly and shared with us so we can prepare for and hold the call.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting providers automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. To prevent abuse of our forms, we keep a scrambled, non-reversible version of your IP address for a short period.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send you the free resources you request
  • Send you occasional emails about social media for lawyers, which you can unsubscribe from anytime
  • Respond to your questions and schedule calls
  • Decide whether our services are a good fit for your firm
  • Keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse of our forms
  • Comply with legal obligations

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising pixels or sell-your-data style tracking on this website. However, some pages include content embedded from other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies when you view or interact with them:

  • YouTube, which hosts our client testimonial videos
  • Calendly, which powers our booking calendar

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted service providers to run this website and our business, including website hosting, a secure database for storing form submissions, an email delivery service for sending your resources, Calendly for scheduling, and YouTube for video hosting. These providers receive only the information they need to do their job. We do not control their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.

Data sharing and sales

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers described above, and only to the extent needed for them to provide their services to us, or when required by law.

Confidential client information

Please do not send us privileged or confidential information about your clients through this website or by email. If we work together, how we handle client-related information is covered by our written service agreement.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above: for as long as you remain on our email list, for the length of any business relationship and a reasonable period afterward, or as required to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Just reply to any of our emails or write to jake@mitchellsmm.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This website is intended for attorneys and legal professionals. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
